In The Heart of All Things Louisville

Few cities the size of Louisville can boast their own ballet, orchestra, regional repertory theatre, children's theatre, opera, dinner theatre, and Shakespeare festival. When you stay at The Brown, you are near to it all.

Friday, March 19, 2010 through Monday, March 22, 2010 in Freedom Hall...

The best in NCAA® Division I women’s college basketball comes to Louisville! The University of Louisville will host four of the 64 teams in the first and second rounds of the 2010 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. The Road to the Women’s Final Four® begins in Louisville’s Freedom Hall!

Freedom Hall also hosts some of the biggest regional concert events and you won't want to miss legendary AC/DC as they bring their show to Louisville on April 13.

Are you looking to plan ahead you fun in 2010? Louisville will be booming with great events! In May, you can kick off your summer of music with Abbey Road on The River. An now annual event, this festival draws over 50,000 Beatles fans each year to Louisville's waterfront. This year's festival will be held May 27 - 31, 2010.

HullabaLOU 2010 will be held at Churchill Downs July 23 - 25, 2010. This three-day music festival event will feature 65 bands. With a line up featuring Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney and The Dave Matthews Band, this event is a must-attend for anyone who loves music festivals. Also on the schedule are Gladys Knight, the B-52's, and Loretta Lynn, among others.

In late September and early October, The Alltech EFI World Equestrian Games is being held in the United States for the first time, and it's right here in Kentucky at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington! The World Equestrian Games are comprised of the world championships for eight equestrian sports. The Games are held every four years, two years prior to the Olympic Games, and are governed by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI).
